I am a lifelong resident of Irmo, SC and a graduate of Irmo High School. My wife Gina and I have 2 boys, Camden and Bradley. My wife, father and grandfather are currently working in or have worked in the financial industry. In my free time I like to cook, play golf and enjoy boating on beautiful Lake Murray.
I strongly believe in the principles of honesty, loyalty and dedication both in my professional and personal life. As a parent, husband, and business owner I believe that it is my responsibility to teach others financial responsibility while helping them achieve their financial goals. I am a Partner with and a Financial Advisor of Steeplechase Financial Services. I now reside in Columbia but I grew up in Lugoff South Carolina with my mother, Becky and autistic brother, Hunter. When I’m not at the office I enjoy cooking, running and playing golf.
My passion is to help friends and clients that have special needs family members develop financial plans to maximize the long-term benefits to help care for them. I believe that laying solid foundations and building strong relationships have been the key to my continued success in the financial industry. I have been in the Financial Industry since 2004. I graduated Georgia Tech in 1988 in Business Management and a minor in Finance. My main area of focus is working with business owners who need help with Buy/Sell Agreements, Key Man policies, Deferred benefits and retirement plans. I also have many individual family clients. I help them with retirement planning, risk protection and with college saving plans as well as debt reduction strategies.
I have lived in South Carolina since 1992. I am married to my wife Ann and have 2 daughters who cheer for River Bluff High School in Lexington South Carolina. My wife has her own CPA firm, and also works in Irmo.
I understand the day to day struggles people have with their finances and enjoy helping them understand the best places to put their money to protect what they have, grow more for retirement and reduce their debt.
